Help to manage telephone queries from members of the public and provide ‘on the job’ administrative and customer service training for Freedom Project Volunteers.
What you’ll be doing: Role Description
- Answering the telephone, liaising with staff and other volunteers to deal with queries appropriately.
- Helping to provide training for Freedom Project volunteers seeking to develop skills relevant to the help desk.
- Supporting with administrative tasks relevant to the help desk.
General Volunteering Duties
- Work within health & safety guidelines and Mustard Tree policies and procedures
- Embody Mustard values and represent the charity as required
- Support Freedom Project participants/volunteers and service users to feel part of the community

What is the time commitment?
We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of a half day per week during our telephone operating hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm).
How will you be supported?
You will be overseen by the Support Services Manager. The Volunteer and Community Coordinator is also available to support you as you volunteer with us.
We are able to cover travel expenses, and you are welcome to join us for a cooked lunch (vegetarian option available).
