Branch Manager – Eccles

We are looking for an individual to manage our Eccles branch, which operates as a charity shop, food bank, and community hub, whilst offering training and development to the people that Mustard Tree supports. This post is based at our Eccles site although occasional travel to our other branches may be required.

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a retail environment with excellent communication skills and an ability to work under pressure. We are seeking someone who can manage a team of volunteers, develop Mustard Tree’s community profile and work with people from across the community.

The successful applicant will also be confident keeping accurate and up to date records, following efficient processes as well as supporting the monitoring and evaluation of the charity’s extensive activities.

Freedom Project Coordinator – Ancoats

Alongside emergency practical provision of food, clothing and furniture, we provide training and long-term solutions for those from disadvantaged backgrounds and local communities.

The Freedom Project is a highly popular and effective project that works to help those with major barriers to employment towards work readiness.  We are looking for a Coordinator who is highly motivated with excellent people skills.

Ideally the candidate has experience of working in partnership with agencies and employers as well as with people from disadvantaged backgrounds.  The individual will need to help trainees on the Freedom Project to progress into employment or further education or training in a manner that values each individual and acknowledges their personal needs.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator who is highly motivated, has a passion for supporting people and with excellent people skills. Ideally the candidate will have experience of working with people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
