We work collaboratively with individuals, agencies, businesses and community groups to broker long-term solutions to the poverty and inequality in our city and we are always open to developing more partnerships which we hope will enhance the work we do with those most in need.
Charity of the Year
If you would like to choose or have already chosen us as your charity of the year, we would love to invite you to Mustard Tree so you can find out more about what we do and talk about ways you can support us.
We will work with you to create a fundraising plan with fun and engaging ways for your staff to raise funds. Our corporate partnership manager will work with you and your staff to provide the best possible support.
Group challenge events
Take part in events such as cycle rides, marathons and skydives. We have one arranged for Easter 2018: a city abseil!
A tax efficient scheme that allows you to make regular donations directly from your salary. It is a simple and effective way for employees to support their chosen charity.
Support your employee’s fundraising by matching the money that they raise. This is a fantastic way of motivating your staff by showing your support for their fundraising efforts, as well as raising your profile.
CRM and sales promotions
You could support us directly through product sales. This can help increase your profits and raise brand awareness.
We plan two events throughout the year, with opportunities for companies to get involved through sponsorship and brand awareness.
Please see our fundraising tab for the events we have coming up for 2018.
Offering Work Placements
We coordinate the Freedom Project; a 20 week work readiness and life skills programme aimed at those who have additional barriers to moving on in life, such as homelessness, mental health issues, addiction recovery or a criminal record. We encourage our participants to undertake a 2-4 week work placement at a local business toward the end of their time with us as we hope they will gain practical experience in the industry they wish to work in. If you would like to discuss the possibility of offering work placements to our participants, please do get in touch.
Are you looking for an opportunity for your staff to get involved with their local community?
Corporate volunteering is a great way to share skills with people who come to us for support, whilst also building team spirit. We are moving into our new renovated building in April 2018 which will further expand our volunteering opportunities and so it is a great time to be joining us!
If you would like to discuss one of these options or have your own idea, please email Sophie Appleton, Corporate Partnerships Manager on firstname.lastname@example.org.
