Food, clothing & household items

Rather than tipping items of household goods and furniture, let us help you help the environment.  We are committed to reducing the amount of re-usable goods that are sent to landfill across Greater Manchester and will use items that would otherwise be wasted. If you have good quality clothing, bedding, household items, small electrical items or small items of furniture that you would like to donate to us, these can be dropped off at our premises any time between 09:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday and between 09:00 – 12:30 on Saturday’s.

For larger items, please contact us on 0161 228 7331 to arrange a collection.

We will make the items you donate available at affordable prices to those in need through our shop in Ancoats and Eccles.

Before you donate please consider the following points:

• > Are the items suitable for re-use?
• > Any upholstered items must have Fire Protection labels attached that confirm that it complies with the 1988 (or more recent) Furniture and Furnishing regulations.
• > All items are collected at the discretion of the Mustard Tree driver.
• > Please allow 1 weeks notice for a collection to be arranged.
