The Dignity Project is similar to the Freedom Project in that it is a client centred programme and it to is aimed at those who have additional barriers to moving on in life, such as homelessness, mental health issues, addiction recovery or a criminal record. However it isn’t restricted to 20 weeks because we recognise that for some the journey to progression is a much longer one. The progression routes for the Dignity Project participant may include employment, education, training, healthy living, the establishment of healthy support networks, financial or digital inclusion and improved wellbeing. Participants are able to access and enjoy many of the choices and opportunities offered by the ‘hub and home’ approach of Mustard Tree, building confidence, skills, resilience, healthy independence and self determination. The Dignity Project welcomes Asylum seekers and those with refugee status.
