We are always looking to replenish our food store because sadly, we often run low on items as we provide our volunteers and guests a free lunch each day, serve people on the soup run every Friday night and provide food parcels to people who are in desperate need. Whilst the provision of food and drink is essential, we use the various paths mentioned as an opportunity to listen to and befriend those to seek our support. Many of our clients struggle with mental health issues or addictions, so we are able to provide care and support in a practical way to people who often feel marginalised and unappreciated.
Food essential items
Due to the various food services we provide, we often run low on food items and are always looking for ways to replenish our food store. One of the best ways to maximise the amount of food collected is by organising a food collection with your organisation on our behalf. If you would like to do this, please download our Essential Store Items list so you can see what we need. Unfortunately, we are unable to collect food from people as we have to keep our vans free for collecting and delivering furniture so we would be grateful if you could email email@example.com to arrange a suitable time to bring the food to our Ancoats base. We rely heavily on donations such as these to help support and nourish those who are needy within the local communities that we serve and we value this type of support more than ever.
